Flat Top Genuine Warranty

All Flat Top hard covers purchased and fitted by us from feb 1 2020 now enjoy a Lifetime Structural and Paint warranty (previous 3 years) 

This warranty applies to the original purchaser when purchased through Flat Top or our Authorised dealers. This warranty in non transferrable and covers the original purchaser only.

This warranty is non transferrable and applies to the original and truck owner of the lid installation.It excludes any damage caused by the retrofitting of accessories.

The structure of your Flat Top is warranted to be free of physical manufacturing defects in the materials and workmanship for the lifetime of the owner as long as they own the ute..

Other components such as hardwear are warranted for 36  months .

Limitations:

- Paint appearance standards are a commercial class B finish* in critical areas and b minus in non critical areas. This standard is set in natural daylight at 1200 lumes. Flat Top does not imply or warrant any other standard. Products fitted by customers are deemed to be accepted once once fitted.

-damage due to abuse, misuse, accident,improper installation, removal of reinstallation.

-crazing or cracking from impact or misuse is not warranted.

-damage to accessories or vehicle other than your flat top is excluded

-damage caused by misalignment or fitting not warranted.

-damaged caused by overheight loads, or operating the vehicle in the open position is excluded from this warranty.

-freight costs are excluded

-if your flat top is defective it must be returned to flat top for repair. 

ROLL TOPS Carry a 3 year manufacturing fauly warranty. Exclusions are discolouration to surface, water damage thru lack of routine drain hose cleaning.(leaves etc)

All electronic components come with a 36-month warranty, excluding batteries in remotes. Exclusions are where the key fobs become saturated or are physically damaged. Replacements are available at a reasonable cost.

All warranties are in addition to the implied warranties under the Trade Practices Act 1974.

All goods are sold on an ex-works basis in Victoria  .All goods shipped are insured against damage. Any claim must be made at the time of receipt and damaged goods only accepted by consignee with inspected damage noted on the delivery docket.

Damaged is to be noted and photographed and sent to consignor for processing with the insurance company. Depending on details supplied, an assessment of repair costs will be made by the insurance company and/or its agents. This shall be passed to the consignee. Repairs can be made locally or goods can be shipped back, based on the fair assessed or repair costs by the consignor. Accredited insurance repairers shall be used locally to obtain repair costs. A commercially acceptable, as well as an expedient resolve, shall be agreed upon by both parties. 

Consequential costs are excluded from this warranty. Validation of you warranty shall be through our on line ordering and shipping system
